TOK Workshop in Chinese
A second TOK in Chinese workshop was successfully held in Beijing on 6-8 April 2007.
Twenty-five participants from ten schools attended the first TOK workshop instructed in Chinese. They discussed many topics with the workshop leader, Craig Boyce, and teachers found it very helpful for the students whose first language is Chinese. Many schools who are still on waiting list would like to have more of such workshops.
A networking group in TOK teaching research
The participants set up a networking group in TOK teaching research among the IBDP six teaching groups. Chen Zhen from Tianjin Experimental High School was elected to lead the researching group from Tianjin Experimental High School, Beijing World Youth Academy, Beijing No.55 Middle School, Shanghai Pinhe School, Guangdong Country Garden School and etc. They are now in regular contact with one another.

Workshops successfully held in Guangdong Country Garden School
The MYP and DP Regional Workshops were successfully held in Guangdong Country Garden School from 27-29 April 2007. Many thanks to the school for making this a successful event.
University admissions
The twenty-two Chinese IB graduates of 2007 in Shanghai Ping He School have all received university admissions letters from the U.S.A., the U.K., Canada, Australia, and Holland. This is a big boost for Chinese parents and students who apply to study IB Diploma Programme at the school.
