Access Service Project Officer Ref 720s

The Access & Service Projects Officer, within Advancement, assists in the Access & Service projects administration and communication; provides curriculum support and coordination; coordinates volunteer (IB Trainers) involvement; and manages internal administrative matters for department staff.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, the jobholder is responsible for providing efficient administrative, logistical and operational support to all projects in the region. S/he will assist in implementing project contracts, documenting policies and guidelines, monitoring budget and facilitating logistical arrangement for staff and project consultants.  

The jobholder supports the Planning and Development Manager in preparation of project information for fund-raising and donor management purposes.

In addition, the jobholder works closely with the Curriculum Manager in curriculum documentation and supports communication between the Curriculum Manager and PD Trainers for the projects. S/he provides support to international project volunteers, through the maintenance of the volunteer database, timely correspondences and coordination on their needs in preparation for workshop training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with 2 years experience in international organizations, preferably with at least 1 year experience in office administration
  • Excellent communication skills (both English written and oral communications)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues and international partners
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to plan and prioritize to meet tight and diverse timeline
  • Good IT literacy with all standard software
  • Demonstrated skills and understanding of financial management and budget monitoring
  • Experience in supporting projects overseas will be an added advantage

The post is based in Singapore.
