Particpation criteria and academic content
Participant criteria
- heads and directors new to the MYP from interested*, candidate or IB World schools that have been authorized to offer the MYP.
The objectives of the workshop are to help participants to:
- understand the philosophical principles of the MYP and its implementation.
- understand the philosophy, standards and requirements set by the IB for MYP schools.
- foresee the implications of implementing the MYP at their school
- experience the MYP approach to teaching and learning.
You will be encouraged to share your school’s experiences of implementing/planning to implement the MYP and guided through the authorization, evaluation and moderation processes, according to your interests and needs.
Working language
The working language for all workshops is English.
Participants need to be able to understand and communicate independently in English in order to attend and benefit from this workshop.
Minimum registrations
Please note if the workshop does not meet the minimum number of 10 participants before the close of registrations, it will be cancelled.
