IB/EF Inquiry into Peru
Join IB and EF on a 10-day Category 3 Professional Development Tour to Peru in the summer of 2012! Over the course of this workshop you will visit Lima and Cuzco and experience Peru’s ancient and modern culture as you visit Miraflores, the Sacred Valley, Korikancha Temple and learn a traditional Peruvian dance. You will travel with fellow IB educators and visit an IB school in Lima, learn about educational practices in Peru and have the opportunity to share best practices with IB educators from across North America. You will also have the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu and to participate in service learning activities in Cachiccata. Join Cynthia Ballheim, an accomplished IB workshop leader, as she guides discussions to inquire into Peru’s educational, historical and cultural diversity.

Details: 10-day professional development tour to Peru including flights, ground transportation, continental breakfasts and dinners daily, sightseeing, site entry fees, school visit, accommodations in first class, superior tourist class, or tourist class hotels with private baths.
