What is Flickr™?
Flickr is an online photo web site that enables you to store, share, and search photos. By adding your submissions using Flickr, you have the ability to upload multiple images at once. Flickr is free to join!
Submit Your Photos using Flickr™
To add a photo to Flickr, just follow these steps:
Step 1
- Log on to Flickr
- If you are not already a member, you'll need to sign up for a free account.
STEP 2
- Visit the IB Schools group
- Click "Join this group."
- Read and accept the Group Rules
STEP 3
- Click the “Home” link in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the “Upload your photo” link.
- Choose your file
- Important: Please be sure to tag your photo with the NAME OF YOUR SCHOOL and the NAME OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER.
- Make sure to make your photo public.
- Click "Upload."
- Save your photo.
STEP 4
- To add your photo to the IB Schools group, click on the photo you wish to submit
- Click on the "Send to group" link above the photo
- Choose the IB Schools group
- Once added to the group, click on your image. Use the "Add A Tag" feature on the right of the screen to add extra information such as Programme, date, country, etc...
That's it!
Terms and conditions
- We will feature photographs on the understanding that the provider has sought permission from those who are featured in the image.
- By submitting a photograph you give a license to the IB to use these photos worldwide in its publications in any medium and on its website in order to promote its educational mission. You also permit the IB to act in your best interests with regard to requests by others to copy photos for reasonable purposes.
- All entries must be labelled with the photographer’s name and the IB World School whose students and/or buildings are pictured.
